Over the last years I have pursued my education and professional activity in different environments and institutions. Firstly I have completed my Bachelor degree in Agriculture having with an academic CGPA 3.611 (out of 4.0 scales). In my Bachelor program I have studied about a course on environmental science. In that course we were studied took part in different tour about the environmental situation in Dhaka city slum area, waste water management in different parts of Dhaka city, Road side tree plantation in some urban areas of Bangladesh. Moreover, I have also paticipated in some international conferences on environmental biotechnology.
I graduated (MSc) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh, in very good academic standing (CGPA 3.76 out of 4.0 scale).
During my master’s work at the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh, I developed a new protocol for the in vitro regeneration of soybean crop. Before that I did a good job for in vitro development of Neem plant (Ajadiractus indica), a medicinal woody plant in south Asia. Besides my study for MS program in Biotechnology I was involved with an international NGO namely BRAC for a period of one and half year in the Biotechnology division.
Very recently, I worked for expansion of ‘Gutti urea’ in the Sider affected areas of Bangladesh funded by USAID directed by IFDC (International Fertilizer Development Center). It is really a good practical knowledge in my life to see the environmental situation of coastal city areas.
The language of my education was English both in Bachelor (four years) and Master (Master’s: 2 years). Furthermore, having met and collaborated with people from many different cultural backgrounds allows me to communicate easily with others and adapt quickly to new challenges.
In addition to creative skills and technical knowledge, I have much experience in group working and project team environments. I always maintain a mature, gracious and professional manner when communicating with people, even when difficulties arise.
Moreover, I have attended several international environment and biotechnology conference which will help me in exploring myself in the field of environmental research.
