Eligibility: Citizens and permanent residents of Canada: (a), (c) and (d) with full-or part-time appointments in a Canadian institution and who plan to return to Canada following the tenure of the fellowship; (b) who are entering or enrolled in a degree programme leading to specialisation in India; (e) artists who have demonstrated sustained commitment to the Performing Arts of India; (f) who have completed a Ph.D. degree or will have completed it prior to taking up the fellowship; (g) who are enrolled in the third or fourth year or undergraduate study in a Canadian University; (h) who are enrolled as full-time students in a Canadian University; (i) who hold a full-or part-time appointment in a Canadian institution of higher education and have an established record of teaching and/ or research in the field of Women-in-Development.
Value: (a), (c), (d) and (f) Rs. 12,000 per month living allowance and Rs. 3,000 per month for research; (b) Rs. 8,000 per month living allowance and Rs. 3,000 per month for research; (e) from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month living allowance and 3,000 rupees per month for instructional expenses; (g) $2,000; (h) $2,500; (i) the equivalent in rupees of $1,365 living allowance per month and of $1,000 per month.

ORGANIZARION-ADMINISTERED CIDA PROGRAMS
The CIDA-SICI Project (CSP): The CIDA-SICI Project aims at fostering sustainable development and strengthening relations between India and Canada. The CSP, begun in 1992 with funds from CIDA, is administered by the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI). SICI promotes the study and understanding of Canada in India and India in Canada. Within the CSP, the Development Studies Program comprises Women & Development Awards for Indians, Social Sciences & Humanities Fellowships, and Visiting Scholar programs.
(a) Women and Development Awards: Up to three fellowships per year are offered to Indian scholars. Research fellowships (for faculty, post-doctoral and doctoral students; between
IUSSTF Fellow will also be entitled to contingency/ preparatory allowances to cover for visa, airport transfer, medical insurance, etc. @ Rs 15000 for period upto 6 months and Rs. 20000 for period beyond 6 months. In an effort to augment scientific excellence in emerging areas of science and technology, the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) in association with Science and Engineering Research Council of (SERC) of Department of Science and Technology (DST), announces the Indo-US Research Fellowships.
