SCHOLARSHIPS IN SHRI BRIHAD BHARTIYA SAMAJ
SHRI BRIHAD BHARTIYA SAMAJ:
offers to Indian and overseas students of Indian origin, undergoing full-time Degree courses in Indian Universities and ilTY’s in Medicine (MBBS, BDS, Ayurved and Homeopathy), Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Nuking Education and Post -Graduate, Veterinary Science, Nursing Education and Post Graduate courses in these faculties.
Eligibility: First year students with a minimum of 70% marks and others with minimum 60% marks in their last university examination and female student studying in First year and above for Nursing and Education with a minimum 60% marks in their last University examination and female student studying in First year and above for Nursing and Education with a minimum of 45% marks (Guardian’s Total annual income not exceeding Rs. 60,000/-) are eligible.
About 200 students would be selected for the award of scholarships on the basis of merit. Students in receipt of scholarships from the Central and /or the State Government or from their University/Colleges/lnstitutions would not be eligible.
Application forms and copies of rules would be available from the office of the Samaj at N.K. Mehta International House, 178, Backbay Reclamation, Babubhai MChinai Marg (Behind LIC Yogakshema) Mumbai-400020 and may also be obtained by sending a self address stamped (Rs. 10) large sized envelope to the Samaj Office. The last date for sending the duly filled -in application forms to the Samaj Office is September.
