One Fellowship (of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh) is awarded each year to a person of any field. The Fellows may conduct their work and write their reports in English, Hindi, or any of the modern Indian languages.
Eligibility: An independent professional, or working in the middle levels of government, industry, institutions etc.; have proven professional credentials in their field; wish to take time off to enrich their intellectual capital and pursue a project of national importance. Age: Below 50 years.
