YUGOSLAV GOVERNMENT SCHOLARHIPS
5 scholarships are offered to Indian Nationals in the following subject-fields :
(1) Ceramic and Glass Technology
(2) Naval Architecture and
(3) Fisheries Technology.
Minimum Qualifications: Uniformly good academic record with 60% or above marks at B.Sc/B.E degree.
Essential Experience: At least two years teaching/research practical experience as in January in the subject field selected after the prescribed qualifications (M.Phil./research for Ph.D. is counted towards one year experience).
Age: 33 years as in April but relaxable up to 2 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Value: It carries the following allowance payable by the Government of Yugoslavia. The scholarship
holders receive boarding and lodging in student hostels. Besides this, they get a 5258 Dinars pocket money and 2190 dinars in one disbursement towards books. Travel expenses in the country and within the specialisation programme.
Passage Cost: The cost of passage from India to Yugoslavia and back borne by the candidate or his/her sponsors/employers. Subject to the availability of funds, the passage cost may also be met by the Government of India, provided the candidate is eligible under the rules subject to income criterion.
