   my friend’s son got admission to BE (I.T.) in AMIES, Vellmadu, through engineering counselling last year. He attended the college for a month and due to sickness, could not continue and did not appear for the semesters. Though he is perfectly alright now, he does not wish to continue there. He wants to appear for this year’s counselling to study in another college.
   Is he eligible to apply for the coming counselling - August 2009?
   Kindly let us know the procedure for applying for this year’s counselling.

   now exterance exams are abolished. How the marks obtained in different streams (ie. CBSE, ICSE, HSC, etc ) are interpolated in arriving their cut off marks.
   Is their any quota prescribed for students for other than State HSC steam.
