July 2007 Term – Examinations to be Held On 1st and 2nd December 2006.

The Examination for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, DehraDun – July 2007 term, will be held on 1st and 2nd December 2006 at selected centres in the country of which Chennai city will be one. The Examination will consist of both written and viva – voce test. The written Examination will consist of three papers viz. English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The medium of Examination will be English or Hindi for the subjects Mathematics and General Knowledge. The interview will be held to test the intelligence, personality etc. of the candidates. The interview will be held on 5- 4- 2007 only for the candidates who qualify will be intimated to them later. Minimum pass marks in each paper including interview will be 505.

Application forms and prospects for the above examination can be procured from the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehra Dun, by sending D.D. for a Value of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehra Dun. This can also be collected personally from the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehra Dun on payment of Rs. 160/-. The application form and prospectus will not be supplied to the candidates from the Office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai. Locally printed / Xeroxed forms will be rejected.

Those seeking admission to the College should not be less than 111/2 years of age and must not have attained the age of 13 years as on 1st July 2007 (They should have been born not earlier than 1st July 1994 and not later than 1st January 1996). No relaxation of age limit will be allowed. The candidates should be studying or should have passed class VII, from any recognized School, at the time of admission to the Rashtriya Indian College (i.e. on 1st July 2007).

Filled in applications in the prescribed form in duplicate from the candidates (Boys only) whose parents or Guardians RESIDE IN TAMIL NADU should reach the Controller Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai- 600 002, not later than 5.45 p.m. on 30th September 2006.
