Terms and Conditions
Admission for Non-sponsored Candidate shall be made through GATE (When GATE qualified Candidates are not available, Admission may be given to NON-GATE Candidates on merit).
Admission for Sponsored Candidates should fulfill eligibility criteria of respective M.E./M.Tech. Course with 55% marks. No minimum percentage of marks for those Teachers either in Engineering or Polytechnic who joined before 28-02-1989. The Candidates must have a minimum of two years of full time experience.
Regular Non-sponsored GATE Qualified Candidates admitted to M.E./M.Tech. Courses will be awarded a Scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per month in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed for eligibility and the Scholarship will be paid for a maximum period of 24 months.
Last Date: Last Date for mailing by Post/Submitting by hand, the completed Application Form is July 17, 2006.
Selection: Written Test-cum-Interview to the short-listed GATE & NON-GATE Candidates will be held on July 31, 2006 at 11-00 a.m. at the respective Department. The weightage of 70% will be credited for the merit and 30% to the written Test-cum-Interview for the final selection of a Candidate.
Fee: The Tuition Fee and other charges for the M.E. /M.Tech. Course is Rs. 12,136/- per year (02 Semester) payable at the time of admission to first and third semester.
Application Form: Application Form along with Prospectus is available at the Account Office Counter, of the College on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash. Candidates who desire Application Form and Prospectus by Post should remit Rs. 550/- by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of “Principal, Ujjain Engineering College, Ujjain”, payable at Ujjain.
