1.The candidate should have passed the degree of B.Chem. Engineering of University of Mumbai or any equivalent examination of a post-HSC four-year degree course, of a University recognized by the University of Mumbai, with first class (i.e. 60% of the marks in aggregate or equivalent grade average)
2. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Pharm.Sc.) of Mumbai University or a degree of any other equivalent degree of any recognized University, at least in Higher Second Class (55% and above).
3. The qualification for admission is a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech. (Polymer), Production Engineering, Machine Tools, Chemical Engineering and Chemical Plants Engineering of Mumbai University and equivalent at least in the second class. The UGC fellowship is awarded to the candidates who have passed the GATE examination.
4. Candidates who have passed the Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Plastics Engineering of this University or an equivalent degree from any other recognized University shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. (Technology) by research.
5. M.Sc. degree at least in Second Class with minimum of 50% marks (preferably of University of Mumbai / equivalent degree of other recognized University / Institute)
